Kinetix Shale reservoir-centric stimulation-to-production software efficiently integrates geology, petrophysics, completion engineering, reservoir engineering, and geomechanics to help you optimize completion and fracturing designs for a well, a pad, or a whole field on the Petrel E&P software platform.

From 1D logs and simple geometric completions to full 3D mechanical and petrophysical models coupled with INTERSECT high-resolution reservoir and VISAGE finite-element geomechanics simulators, the software expands your options. With automated parallel processing in the cloud, the software enables rapid assessment of well spacing, completion, and treatment design choices, enabling the engineer to explore up to thousands of scenarios in hours rather than weeks.

Enhance matrix treatment designs and delivery options

Kinetix Matrix matrix stimulation design software integrates reservoir petrophysical and treatment fluid chemical data to optimize matrix treatments using acid or nonreactive fluids. Engineers can optimize treatment fluids and volumes by simulating placement for different pumping and diversion schedules and delivery through tubing, coiled tubing (CT), or other flow paths.

The software also integrates with ACTive real-time downhole CT services for determination of initial permeability and skin, monitoring of fluid placement and diversion, evaluation of the treatment, and thermal modeling.

Kinetix RT real-time stimulation optimization software uses surface and downhole data to facilitate immediate decision making during stimulation operations. This cloud-based application acquires and displays data from ACTive services and fiber-optic completion systems such as the WellWatcher permanent monitoring systems. It can also accommodate distributed vibration sensing (DVS), distributed temperature sensing (DTS), distributed strain temperature sensing (DSTS), and other data sources.
