The Cameron well test separator separates the wellbore effluent into its component elements—gas, oil, and water—and measures the pressure, temperature, and flow rate of each phase. Produced water is directed to tanks for subsequent disposal. If the quantity of oil is significant, it is directed to a dedicated tank, otherwise it is combined with the produced water. Gas is flared or directed to the sales line. Two-, three-, and four-phase separators are available with a horizontal or vertical orientation.
