Downhole Fluid Processing
The ability to process fluids downhole and produce a rich stream of hydrocarbons improves the return on investment for the well. Downhole fluid processing debottlenecks pipelines and surface facilities constrained by excessive fluid production. Current systems are designed for same-well injection for waterfloods or depressurizing gas zones.
The DuraInject downhole injection system is a REDA electric submersible pump (ESP) system that is configured to provide same-well injection, usually from an upper water zone to a lower producing zone, for pressure maintenance or waterflood sweep.
The GasStar downhole dewatering system deliquifies gas wells by injecting the water on the formation into a neighboring zone and allowing the gas to produce to the surface. The GasStar system typically uses a REDA ESP to pump the water from the producing zone and inject the water into a zone above or below the producing zone.
