Understand your reservoir
The more you understand your reservoir, the better positioned you are to manage its lifetime performance. A series of unique advances in downhole measurement means that many of the conventional limitations in the ability to measure - and understand - the subsurface can at last be overcome, using the Scanner Family rock and fluid characterization services. The Scanner Family allows you to maximize certainty in the derived properties that are used in your reservoir model.
Sonic Scanner
For a deeper understanding of acoustic behavior in and around the borehole, you need accurate radial and axial measurements of the stress-dependent properties of the rocks near the wellbore. The Sonic Scanner acoustic scanning platform provides multiple depths of investigation, excellent waveform quality, and presentations that reduce the complexity of sonic logging, without compromising the depth of information.
MR Scanner
The MR Scanner expert magnetic resonance service is the next-generation nuclear magnetic resonance wireline logging tool. Making simultaneous multifrequency measurements, the MR Scanner tool investigates the formation at multiple depths in a single pass. Its unique measurement sequence gives you a clear profile of your reservoir fluid.
Rt Scanner
For a deeper understanding of the true resistivity of your reservoir, the Rt Scanner triaxial induction service calculates vertical and horizontal resistivities from direct measurements, while simultaneously solving for formation dip at any well deviation and in anisotropic formations. Its measurements at multiple depths of investigation in all three dimensions ensure that the derived resistivities are a true 3D measurement.
Isolation Scanner
The evaluation of zonal isolation in the presence of lightweight or foam cements is very difficult due to the low contrast between low-density solids and liquids. The Isolation Scanner service solves this dilemma by utilizing a completely different type of measurement to confirm zonal isolation, pinpoint any channels in cement, ensure confident and thus efficient squeeze or no-squeeze decisions. In addition, the new service provides detailed information about casing eccentralization while ID and thickness measurements identify corrosion or drilling-induced wear.
Flow Scanner
The horizontal and deviated well production logging system is optimized for three-phase production logging, giving you a complete flow analysis of complex downhole environments. Conventional production logging tools, developed for vertical or near-vertical wells, cannot give effective answers when confronted with the complex flow environment of highly deviated wells.
