Efficient, reliable recovery of all standard gas lift valves

The Peak Familyfull radial contact gas lift valve (FRC GLV) pulling tool is used in conjunction with a kickover tool to provide efficient and reliable gas lift valve recovery during changeout operations. The FRC GLV pulling tool engages the full 360° underside of an external fish neck during conventional and heavy jarring applications, providing a much greater load-bearing area compared with standard dog-type pulling tools.

Its robust design features a full supporting latch finger face, which minimizes damage to the latch fingers and fish neck by evenly distributing the load. A positive locking key feature, along with expansion profiles on the core and latch fingers, ensure clean disengagement from the GLV during downward jarring. The FRC GLV pulling tool eliminates the need for spring and steel memory during disengagement, for easier, safer repining and redress.

  • Retrieval of gas lift valves (GLV) in conventional or heavy jarring applications
  • Simpler redress with no special pinning tools required
  • Compatible with
    • Top-latch GLVs
    • Bottom-latch GLVs
    • All standard GLV latches
    • All standard side pocket mandrels
  • 360° latch finger coverage
  • Additional cores to meet reach requirements
  • “Jar down to release”
  • Positive locking assist for safer tool disengagement
