Sand Screen Cleanout
Fluids are pumped to wash or dissolve sand, fines, and scale from a plugged sand screen or gravel pack. These operations may use a high-energy jetting tool on coiled tubing to ensure deep penetration.
Chemical Sand Treatment
Artificial tackifying chemicals (agglomerants) or binders (conglomerants) are injected to stabilize formation material while maintaining sufficient permeability to enable production.
Through-Tubing Gravel Pack
A filter is created across the perforated intervals to retain formation sand and prevent jetting damage to the completion (including new through-tubing screens or casing patch).
Through-Tubing Screen or Patch
A new sand screen or casing patch is deployed into the well through the existing tubing or damaged screens and hung across or above the perforated interval.
