The Supplier Climate Journey is the SLB’s evolved framework for assessing supplier climate commitment and mapping the sustainability maturity of our value chain. As our streamlined approach to supplier decarbonization, it helps suppliers focus on what matters most: reducing emissions. The framework is built around six key actions: measuring and reporting operational emissions, setting clear emissions reduction targets, documenting reduction initiatives, tracking annual progress, verifying emissions data through independent third-party assurance, and allocating emissions to SLB, including product-level carbon footprints for major suppliers.

We evaluate the climate commitment of our top-emitting suppliers using the Carbon Disclosure Platform (CDP) to encourage transparency and drive continuous improvement. Through these efforts, we have achieved a CDP Supplier Engagement Rating of "A," recognizing our commitment to measuring and reducing climate-related risks across our supply chain and positioning SLB as a global leader in supplier climate action.
