Measurement While Drilling (MWD)

The Retrievable MWDrAce-R measurements while drilling tool provides cost-effective solutions in high-efficiency drilling environments. The tool uses high-temperature electronic components, max temperature option up to 347°F (175°C). The tool is easy to operate, reliable and maintenance cost is low. Programmable surface and downhole systems provide reliable, accurate data to meet specific drilling conditions, while user-friendly software provides high-level filtering and pulse detection with can clearly readout on the rig floor.

MWDrAce-R tool provides azimuth, inclination, toolface and gamma ray measurements in real time. Stepper Pulser technology benefits include a fast data rate, strong signal and superior antijamming capabilities for reliable data transmission in difficult drilling conditions. Continuous azimuth and inclination measurements are provided while drilling to facilitate trajectory control and reduce stationary survey.

The tool is operable in a wide variety of environments and fits in collar sizes from 3-1/2 to 9-1/2 in. Flow rate operating range varies from 50 to 1150 gal/min. The entire tool is fully retrievable, which saves rig time by eliminating pipe trips for directional equipment.
