Thru-tubing capillary units

The truck-based system delivers mobility and versatility for installing capillary strings and downhole pressure and temperature gauge systems under live production conditions. The capillary fleet is a fully integrated thru-tubing unit that gives operators a flexible, highly mobile way to optimize well performance.

Mounted on a truck chassis, this purpose-built system provides comprehensive operational capability in a self-contained platform with a small wellsite footprint. It supports rapid deployment and maximum versatility, enabling capillary strings and permanent gauge systems to be run safely and efficiently inside production tubing while the well remains live.
The thru-tubing unit offers a powerful option to mitigate issues and maximize productivity across a wide range of chemical treatment, light intervention, and well monitoring applications—without disrupting oil and gas flow.

• Apply downhole chemical treatments at precise depths in flowing wells subject to corrosion, scaling, paraffin deposition, and hydrates, including high-cost problem wells
• Deliver flow improvers and foaming agents to the bottom of tubing—or below the deepest valve in gas lift wells—for maximum effectiveness
• Monitor offset wells during hydraulic fracturing operations using downhole pressure and temperature gauge systems
• Treat injection and saltwater disposal wells

• Replace “slipstreaming” chemicals in lift gas, treating down the backside, or banding capillary to the outside of the production string with a viable alternative
