Based on Vx™ multiphase well testing technology, the Vx Wave™ microwave multiphase flowmeter delivers reliable performance with minimal intervention. It provides confidence in your meter output, with no requirement for fluid reference measurements, and a low sensitivity to changes in PVT properties.

When installed on a metering system, it accurately measures the total flow rate of multiple commingled wells without the need for complex calculations or multiple samples. Additionally, its built-in salinity measurement and early water detection features enable rapid reservoir management by identifying water breakthrough, property changes, or detecting trace amounts of water in large gas pipelines.

The Vx Wave flowmeter eliminates the need for fluid reference measurements, radioactive source management, and frequent or periodic empty pipes—reducing wellsite visits, interventions, operational costs, risks, and associated emissions. Achieve accurate, real-time flow insights regardless of fluid property changes

Building on 20 years of multiphase flowmeter expertise, the Vx Wave flowmeter combines the proven venturi measurement principle with advanced microwave technology to deliver flow rate measurements independently of changes in fluid properties. The venturi creates a differential pressure effect that provides mass flow rate measurements, while the microwave dual plane transmission determines flow velocity and cross-pipe permittivity to calculate gas volume fraction (GVF), and water/liquid ratio (WLR) of the mixture. The reflection probe combines permittivity and conductivity measurements to detect salinity and enable real‑time correction of the model, ensuring consistent, reliable data output regardless of fluid property changes.
