RheCon
Flat rheology system conditioner

RheCon flat rheology system conditioner improves suspension control while preventing water wetting in the RheGuard flat rheology drilling fluid system. It also aids in rheological stability, filtration control, emulsion stability, and improved resistance to contamination.
Formulation concentrations range from 2 to 4 lbm/bbl [5.7 to 11.41 kg/m3], depending on the synthetic-to-water ratio, anticipated temperatures, and solids loading.

Applications
- Fluid conditioner
- Deepwater and extended-reach drilling
- Narrow hydraulic windows
Advantages
- Reduces surge and break circulation pressures
- Reduces low-temperature rheology
- Optimizes rheological profile for improved zonal isolation
Limitations
For applications in areas where ambient storage temperatures are below 50 degF [10 degC], use of winterized version of the product is recommended.
Concentrations greater than 6 lbm/bbl [17.1 kg/m3] may adversely affect toxicity.
Toxicity and handling
Bioassay information is available on request. Handle as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing the precautions as described in the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
Packaging and storage
RheCon conditioner is packed in 52-galUS [196-L] steel drums and 258-galUS [978-L] totes.
Store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed and away from heat, sparks, or flames. Store away from incompatible materials. Sample separation can occur if the product is stored for prolonged periods at cold temperatures.
