14th Annual Sporting Clays Tournament
Benefitting United Way

SLB is excited to host the Fourteenth Annual Sporting Clays Tournament on February 13th, 2026 at the American Shooting Centers on Westheimer Parkway in Houston, Texas. The day will include a clay shoot, sponsorship awards, shooter awards, door prizes, raffle boards, gun squares, food, beverages and much more. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the United Way.
After 13 successful, consecutive record breaking events, SLB is eager to raise even more for the United Way for Greater Houston. Our tournament goal for the 2026 event is to clear $200,000, which will be matched by SLB and used in support of those needing our help the most in Houston. We recognize that there has been a significant increase in the number of people and families who are struggling to make ends meet right here in our community due to the current market conditions. The United Way is a non-profit 501 C-3 tax-deductible organization that assists children, elderly and families in need.

Event FAQs
Can I buy ammunition at the event?
Yes. Ammunition will be available for purchase at the American Shooting Centers (ASC) Pro Shop on the day of the event.
How much ammunition will I need?
Each shooter will need enough shells for 75 birds plus any mulligans. We recommend bringing or purchasing 100 shells to ensure you’re covered.
Is personal protective equipment (PPE) provided?
Yes. Safety glasses and ear plugs will be provided and are required for the event. If you prefer, you can also purchase additional protective gear at the ASC Pro Shop or bring your own.
How do I reserve a golf cart?
Golf carts can be reserved through the iClays portal or contact Vanessa Armour at vanessa@americanshootingcenters.com.
Please note that reservations must be made by January 30th, 2026.
Can I reserve a loaner gun?
To request a loaner gun, contact Michael Montesino at michael@americanshootingcenters.com.
How many people are on a team?
Teams are made up of five shooters. You can register as a full team or as an individual to be placed on a team.
Can I promote my company on the course?
Yes! Promotions are welcome for event sponsors. When you register for any sponsor tier, let us know what you’d like to do. Past sponsors have hosted BBQs, set up tents with snacks, or shared giveaways. For any questions and to confirm your plans, please email Cariann Peterson at CPeterson3@slb.com.
How does this event help the United Way?
All proceeds from the event support the United Way of Greater Houston, helping fund vital community programs that improve lives across the region. Learn more about United Way here.
Are there sponsorship opportunities?
Yes. We offer multiple sponsorship tiers that provide visibility for your company while directly supporting the United Way of Houston. Sponsorship packages include recognition at the event and in event materials. We also accept donations for raffling and our silent auction.
What prizes and auctions will be held at the event?
The event on February 13, 2026, will feature silent auctions, square boards, and raffled items—all benefiting the United Way of Houston.
- Square boards: Gun and other prize winners will be announced after lunch and notified by the phone number provided at purchase.
- Raffled items: Drawings will also take place after lunch, and winners must be present to claim their prize.
- Silent auction: Bidding will remain open until 11 a.m. Silent auction winners will be posted at the auction table and notified by the phone number listed with their initial bid.

How can I volunteer?
We welcome SLB employees to volunteer to help with registration, auction activities, and event support. Volunteering is a great way to contribute to the success of the event and make an impact in the community.
