视频 Production Enhancement—A New Mindset
SLB and EnQuest discuss production enhancement of a 5-well campaign in a North Sea oilfield.
Postperforating treatment
P3 postperforating treatment removes a wide range of debris and material trapped in your well's perforation tunnels and does not perforate new holes in the wellbore casing. It can be used any time after initial perforation or completion, from hours to years later.
This patented treatment can be used for all well types, including geothermal, to
P3 treatment reduces skin selectively by removing trapped debris that resists flow from existing perforation tunnels, producing immediate and often significant results. Applied in hundreds of environments globally, this solution has objectively demonstrated improved reservoir-to-wellbore communication with flow rate increases ranging from 20% to 400%.
The selective process enables increased potential production from production zones and leaves high skin at the perforations in zones producing unwanted water or gas.
P3 treatment employs a patented dynamic underbalance technique to break up and remove near-wellbore flow impairment damage (typically called skin) from existing perforating tunnels.
The treatment's system consists of an implosion chamber, which is positioned over the target interval. Once triggered, the resulting implosion strips material from flow bottlenecks, removing perforation damage or deposits on slotted liners and screens and obstructions in near-wellbore fractures.
The magnitude and duration of the implosion are modeled using the PURE Planner perforation job planning application; flow or injectivity improvements can also be predicted using SPAN Rock stressed-rock perforating analysis and measured objectively using production logs or by monitoring surface flow rates and pressures.
Our previous models of perforation tunnels were oversimplified and needed updating. This technical paper explores how modern science and innovative demonstrations have produced a better model, unlocking direct and reliable routes to better productivity. This publication is a reference for many perforation experts in our industry.
