When I joined SLB in 2010, I knew I was entering a company already defined by decades of innovation and an unmatched global footprint. What I did not yet realize was how deeply that culture would push the boundaries of how I think, work, and lead.

My journey started in Brazil, in the Amazon rainforest. It was a remote environment that demanded tremendous levels of discipline, resilience, and adaptability.

I quickly learned that every decision mattered and gained a deep respect for both the landscape and the people who do the difficult, deep work our profession requires. It’s this combination of skills and attitudes that remain my foundation—and I’ll always be grateful for the experience that shaped them.

With this foundation in tow, I continued to push the boundaries of my knowledge and experience. I led ultra-deepwater projects, combining high-end technology with operational rigor to ensure safe delivery in the world’s uncharted environments.

And in true SLB fashion, I began to move. Next stop? Mexico, where I led planning and supply chain activities across Latin America.

Managing complex portfolios across multiple countries shifted my perspective. It was no longer just about individual execution, but about building resilient systems and empowering people at scale. This period was also deeply personal, as it was in Mexico that my son was born, forever linking my family’s history with my professional path.

In 2024, I accepted a new challenge leading Reservoir Performance operations in Namibia, one of the world’s fastest-growing offshore frontiers. That’s where I am now—blessed to be witnessing a new chapter of history written in real time.

Every day feels like a powerful reminder of how SLB’s presence goes beyond technology. We contribute to the long-term development of a country’s energy future and its people.

As SLB celebrates 100 years, I feel privileged to be part of a company that continuously reinvents itself.

We’re always pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. And while I’m proud of the history we’ve shared, I’m even prouder to help build what comes next.
