The Supplier Climate Journey outlines a series of progressive stages that help suppliers strengthen their climate commitments and improve transparency. These stages include measuring and reporting operational emissions, setting emissions reduction targets, implementing and documenting reduction initiatives, tracking annual progress, obtaining independent third-party assurance of emissions data, and allocating emissions to SLB, including product-level carbon footprints for major suppliers.

We take an integrated approach to Human Rights Due Diligence across SLB operations and supply chains. We apply a proportionate and risk-based approach to identify, assess, and address potential human rights risks throughout our value chain.
Our risk mapping model uses external risk intelligence that incorporates country and industry level conditions across leading human rights indices, such as recruitment fees, forced labor and access to remedy, among others. The model also incorporates third-party country and industry insights on topics such as legal frameworks, quality of enforcement, reliance on vulnerable workers, and historical evidence of violations. In accordance with the EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive 2012/19/EU, applicable UK WEEE Regulations, and SLB environmental procedures and guidelines, SLB provides information on the presence and location of hazardous substances, where applicable, in SLB electrical equipment. This information is available to organizations within the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom that are involved in the repair, maintenance, recycling, or end-of-life processing of electrical equipment.
