HiWAY
Flow-channel fracturing technique
Maximize oil and gas flow through hydraulic fractures by creating infinite-conductivity channels in your proppant pack.
Salik local-sand-enabled flow-channel fracturing service enables you to substitute economical locally sourced propping agents in stimulation designs based on the HiWAY flow-channel fracturing technique. Because the technique does not depend on proppant quality for conductivity, you can use the Salik service to replace more than 50% of the ceramic proppant normally required for a fracturing job with inexpensive, locally sourced sand, resulting in significant cost savings.
Salik service is deployed using HiWAY fracturing technique, which improves fracture contact area and well productivity. After fracturing, hydrocarbons flow through stable channels, optimizing your well's long-term production performance.
You can save even more costs because stimulation designs in the Salik service require less proppant, overall, than conventional designs. Reducing the amount of proppant required also decreases associated transportation costs and fluid volumes.
