Geothermal profiles contain a tailored selection of Petrel™ subsurface software and Techlog™ wellbore software licenses and plug-ins for subsurface geothermal workflows.

There are two profile options for access: base and plus:

  • Geothermal Engineer Base Profile—enables users to perform geological interpretation, geophysical interpretation, and static subsurface modeling workflows. These workflows enable users to assess the size and potential of a geothermal resource and optimize well placement and well trajectory. This profile contains Petrel software only.
  • Geothermal Engineer Plus Profile—incorporates everything in the base package, with additional functionalities from Techlog software on. Users can also perform fracture characterization, permeability sweet spot analysis, dynamic modeling, uncertainty analysis, and micro-seismic evaluation. These workflows enable users to forecast and optimize resource production.
