Wireline Retrieval System
Peak Family flow control and well intervention tools
Interchangeable tool components for locating and recovering parted wireline
Designed for external fish neck recovery, the double jar down full radial contact (DJD FRC) pulling tool of the Peak Family™ flow control and well intervention tools enhances efficiency in mechanical slickline interventions, especially during high-cost well and gas lift operations. With dual jarring capability and robust construction, this tool eliminates the need for separate down- and up‑jarring tools. This reduces inventory, simplifies logistics, and improves operational uptime.
Tool components are quick to redress, allowing fast replacement of shear pins, screws, and springs. Specialized core options and bottom subs make the tool adaptable to a wider variety of applications, helping reduce NPT and increase versatility across operations.
During operation, the tool enables repetitive downward jarring to latch onto the fish without prematurely shearing the jar‑down‑to‑release pin. If the fish cannot be recovered, the tool shears the upper pin in the DJD adaptor, allowing subsequent downward jarring to release the pulling tool safely.
The tool’s innovative mechanism ensures functionality and adaptability even in demanding scenarios. Optional bell guide bottom subs and the heavy-duty variant enhance its capability to handle larger-ID tubing and challenging conditions.
Quick-exchange components, including shear pins, screws, and springs, simplify maintenance and reduce downtime. This design ensures that the tool remains operational and efficient, even during repetitive use.
By integrating these advanced features, the DJD FRC pulling tool delivers reliable performance, reduces NPT, and ensures smooth and efficient fishing operations in high‑cost well interventions.
