Designed to work on any rig, the HydraPulse slide drilling performance system increases drilling efficiency in high angle and horizontal directional drilling operations performed with mud motors and turbodrills. To overcome sidewall friction of the nonrotating drillstring, the all-mechanical design induces pressure pulses and converts those pulses into mechanical energy. This causes the drillstring to move in an axial direction, improving weight transfer to the bit while sliding.
