A case history on the use of integrated drilling services to geosteer within the sweet spot and maximize reservoir exposure while drilling a high-quality wellbore for Encana in Horn River basin of Canada shale plays. An important part of the operation is focused on maintaining well integrity until the well is cemented, protecting surface aquifers and the wellbore and ensuring a good bond.
