The truck-mounted SBT-614 POD III programmable optimal density blender is capable of blending and pumping proppant slurry at rates of up to 70 bbl/min. Mixing is performed by two independent, side-by-side, 35-bbl/min mixers. It can also load and pump three liquid additives into either mixer, and can meter dry additives into both mixers.
A computer precisely controls the solid/liquid ratio at the designed value throughout the job, in either ramp or stair-step mode.
