Optimize screen and gravel selection

Sand Advisor screen and gravel-pack planning software supports optimal screen and gravel selection in openhole applications by analyzing the formation particle-size distributions. It is based on numerical and analytical modeling and the extensive database of results from laboratory sand-retention tests performed on different Schlumberger screens using actual formation sands with a very wide range of particle-size distributions.

The software enhances the likelihood of successful sand control by recommending

• optimal gravel size to retain formation sand and screen size to retain the gravel for gravel-pack applications
• optimal screen size to retain formation sand for standalone-screen applications.
