Differential Pressure Indicating Switches

Measure DP, flow rate, and liquid levels

The BARTON measurement technology portfolio includes differential pressure (DP) indicating switches that are available in a wide variety of safe working pressures and differential pressure ranges.

Widely used in applications that require measurement of differential pressure, flow rate, and liquid level, our DP indicating switches provide accuracy, narrow deadband, and repeatability of switch action at set point.

The switches are actuated by a rupture-proof-bellows differential pressure unit (DPU) with integral temperature compensation.

Model 288C is a 6-in indicating switch that features a NEMA 4 enclosure rated to 10,000-psi [689-bar] operating pressure and from 0- to 30-in water column to 0- to 1,000-psi [0- to 69-bar] DP. Both single and dual switch units are standard, with up to two additional switches available as an option.

Model 290D is an explosion-proof version of Model 288C that is housed in a CSA-certified case (rated Class I, Div. 1, Groups B, C, and D), which is ideal for high-shock and -vibration environments.
