Gavin Rennick
President, New Energy and Industrial
Gavin Rennick is SLB’s president of New Energy and Industrial, a role he assumed in April 2022. In this position, he leads the company’s businesses across industrial decarbonization, renewables and energy efficiency, mining and critical minerals, as well as data center infrastructure and power.
He previously served as vice president of Human Resources, president of Software Integrated Solutions, vice president of Drilling Products, integration manager for the Cameron International acquisition, and geomarket manager for Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea.
Gavin began his SLB career in 1998 as a Directional Services drilling engineer in Saudi Arabia, following roles at Shell as a lead electrical engineer and major project manager. His experience spans technical, operational, and strategic management, with assignments in Australia, France, Malaysia, Norway, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.
He holds degrees in electrical engineering and business administration from the University of Western Australia. Gavin also serves on the boards of Genvia, SLB Capturi, John Cockerill Hydrogen, and the Awty International School in Houston and actively supports the United Way of Greater Houston.
