Tarek Rizk
Chief Performance Officer
Tarek Rizk is SLB’s chief performance officer, a position he assumed in March 2025. He drives the company’s global performance strategy and implementation, covering safety, operations integrity, planning, supply chain, manufacturing, maintenance, digital enablement, information technology, and global business services.
Tarek began his SLB career in 2000 as a wireline field engineer in Egypt. He has since held key operational and leadership roles across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and North America, with a focus on customer success, safety, and operational performance. His previous leadership positions include president of Middle East and North Africa, president of Drilling and Measurements, director of human resources for the Drilling group, and vice president of Wireline for the Middle East and Africa.
He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Alexandria University in Egypt and has completed executive education at the University of California, Berkeley. Tarek was recognized in the 2023 Forbes Global Meets Local list as a key global leader operating in the Middle East and North Africa region.
