The PowerDrive Archer™ hybrid rotary steerable system delivers complex 3D well profiles while maintaining high ROP and wellbore quality. It minimizes well profile restriction and optimizes the attack angle in troublesome formations. By enabling operators to maximize reservoir exposure, the PowerDrive Archer system increases hydrocarbon production potential, while its enhanced dogleg severity (DLS) capability provides control in challenging formations.
The PowerDrive Archer system can drill complex curves and trajectories and perform openhole sidetracks without requiring a trip out of the hole. It can kick off deeper and land early in the reservoir, maximizing ROP in the vertical section, reducing mechanical sticking risk, and improving wellbore quality. Fast, reliable directional openhole sidetracks can be completed to reduce time spent drilling multilateral wells, enabling wells to be placed exactly where needed.
