Improve cementing performance and effectively seal formations

MUDPUSH Seal™ lost circulation control spacer is a specialized spacer used in primary and remedial cementing operations. It enhances cement bonding by cleaning the wellbore and removing drilling mud. The spacer forms a thin filtercake that seals formation permeability, reducing fluid losses and increasing cement column height. The MUDPUSH Seal spacer can incorporate particulate lost circulation materials (LCM) to plug fractures up to 3 mm [0.12 in] in size. It is especially useful in situations where using fibrous LCM is restricted by string or annulus constraints.

Three additives to prevent losses and plug fractures

MUDPUSH Seal spacer seals formation permeability and plugs fractures up to 3 mm [0.12 in] with particulate LCM.
  • Primary cement jobs
  • Remedial cement jobs

Minimizes fluid losses, improves cement bond logs, and enhances wellbore cleaning for dependable results

  • Improves cement bond logs
  • Prevents lost circulation during cement jobs and increases top of cement
  • Removes any type of drilling fluid from borehole
  • Delivers wide envelope for cement job design
  • Enhances wellbore cleaning and mud removal prior to cement placement
  • Works with hangers or float shoes

Seals fractures, prevents lost circulation, and ensures efficient cement placement with proven performance

  • Seals off permeable formations with a thin filtercake
  • Enables rheology adjustment
  • Plugs fractures up to 3 mm [0.12 in] with particulate LCM
  • Mixes with freshwater or saltwater in rig pits or batch mixer
  • Integrates easily with all common surfactants and solvents
  • Pairs seamlessly with the CemPrime Scrub™ engineered scrubbing spacer to improve mud removal efficiency in nonaqueous fluids
  • Works with all cement systems as well as the EcoShield™ geopolymer cement-free system
  • Performs at temperatures up to 200 degC [392 degF] and beyond when using high-temperature additives in lab testing
