Our seismic-guided drilling service is a powerful application of a fast, integrated, and iterative workflow.

Step 1
Start with a baseline fit-for-purpose 3D predrill model including velocities, a structural image, and pore pressures.
Step 2
Acquire well data while drilling including sonic logs, checkshots, and well tops.
Step 3
Update the shallow velocity model behind the bit with the measured velocities.
Step 4
Update the velocity model ahead of the bit to match the seismic data.
Step 5
Repeat the workflow until target depth is reached.
