Maxtorque worm gears
Our high-performance worm gears are engineered for manual, motorized, subsea, and specialty valve operations and demanding flow control applications. They are based on a proprietary, high-efficiency, double-enveloping worm gear and constructed from best-in-class materials. Autolock technology enables efficiencies approaching 70% while maintaining self-locking behavior, translating to less work for valve actuation, improved HSE profiles, and smaller actuators on motorized valves. The designs incorporate unique tooth forms to minimize microscopic stresses, low and adjustable backlash, and rugged construction for extreme environments, such as subsea, marine, and process control.
