For rotational equipment that does not require thrust loading

Dynatorque™ 360 multiturn worm gears are engineered for applications that require multiple output turns with controlled torque transmission and dependable manual operation. Designed for nonrising stem valves and other rotational equipment that does not require thrust loading, these gears provide a practical solution where a full 360° multiturn output is required without integral end stops.

Built on a flexible manufacturing platform, these gears are available with multiple mounting interface dimensions, while custom-machined versions can include bores and bolt holes for direct valve mounting. Standard units support clockwise-to-close operation, with the handwheel on the right-hand side, and are supplied with an e-coat or black enamel finish. Handwheels are sold separately.

  • Nonrising stem valves requiring multiturn output without thrust loading
  • Multiport valves, dampers, and rotary equipment needing controlled multiturn operation
  • Specialty valve packages where the driven equipment includes its own end stops
  • Industrial process, pipeline, water, wastewater, and plant valve applications requiring rugged manual operation
  • Reliable multiturn control: Enables smooth manual operation for applications requiring more than quarter-turn or half-turn movement
  • Application flexibility: Supports standard and custom mounting configurations (including bores, keyways, and bolt patterns) to facilitate integration with diverse valve packages and direct mounting to customer equipment
  • Rugged construction: Uses proven worm-gear architecture designed for demanding industrial environments
  • No integral stops
  • Gearbox housings available in cast gray iron or ductile iron
  • Compatibility with handwheels, which are available separately

Notes

  • Handwheels listed are recommended sizes to produce full rated torque with the rim effort listed.
  • Bores, keyways, and mounting patterns listed are per SLB standards.
  • Standard mounting patterns on the DT3-360 through DT54-360 are 4 tapped holes straddling the centerline at 45°.
