Daikin Park

Tuesday evening will be hosted at Daikin Park, home of the Houston Astros baseball team, providing a relaxed change of pace in one of the city's most recognizable venues.

After the first full day of sessions, gather at the field level for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a private dinner at Union Station. Originally constructed in 1911 to serve Houston's rail customers, Union Station has been restored to its original grandeur. The informal setting gives attendees time to continue the day’s conversations, exchange perspectives, and spend time with peers outside the conference room.

Museum of Fine Arts

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH) is one of the largest and most important art museums in the US and is located in the city’s Museum District. Its collections span more than 5,000 years, include 70,000–80,000 artworks from six continents, and encompass ancient civilizations to contemporary artists. It houses top‑tier masterpieces—including works by world‑renowned artists such as Monet, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, and O’Keeffe.

The museum offers visitors meaningful insights into Houston’s multicultural identity. A trip to MFAH is not just a museum visit but a cultural introduction, helping guests understand the character, history, and global connections of Houston itself. In addition, the museum features multiple cafés and restaurants—including a Michelin‑starred dining option (Le Jardinier)—as well as cultural events, guided tours, and educational programs.

SLB Production Chemicals Technology Center

This facility is a cornerstone of chemical innovation and manufacturing excellence, with a legacy spanning more than 100 years. Serving as the headquarters of our chemical technologies business line, the site is home to a full-scale manufacturing plant and a technical center staffed with more than 200 experts and support personnel. It includes one of our centers of excellence for research and technology development in corrosion, flow assurance, phase separation, water, and microbiology, as well as a comprehensive analytical laboratory. Equipped with advanced infrastructure and implementing stringent quality controls, the facility produces high‑performance chemical technologies that enhance efficiency, reliability, and sustainability for oil and gas operations worldwide.

Arrival

When should I arrive?
We advise our guests to arrive on Monday, April 6, in time for the welcome reception that will begin at 6:00 p.m. at The Post Oak Hotel.

What time is the first conference session?
The conference kicks off on Tuesday, April 7, at 8:00 a.m.

When can I get my conference badge?
You can pick up your event badge at the SLB welcome desk during the welcome reception on Monday, April 6. If you are unable to attend the reception, you can also collect your badge on Tuesday, April 7, from 8:00 a.m. onward.

Attire

What is the dress code for the daytime sessions?
Business attire. 

What is the dress code for the evening gala on April 8?
Formal evening attire is recommended.

How can I get visibility on the costs per guest associated with the social events?

Hotel

Do I need to pay for my hotel stay?
Yes, you will be responsible for booking and paying for your hotel accommodations for the conference. We have secured negotiated rates at The Post Oak Hotel and The Houstonian Hotel for this conference. To take advantage of this preferred SLB rate, come back and visit the registration page for booking links and more details. We will email you when the booking links are ready.

What if I wish to stay at the recommended hotel for additional nights outside the event dates?
The negotiated rate is also available for 3 days before and after the event dates.

Travel

Do you provide ground transportation between the airport and hotel?
Yes, SLB can arrange transportation for your arrival and departure, per your request.

Visas

What if I need an invitation letter for my visa application?
SLB can provide an invitation letter within 3 business days of your registration.
