The AlphaSight™ 3D multi-depth reservoir mapping and horizontal look-ahead-while-drilling service enables operators to navigate complex reservoirs across all resistivity environments, including low-resistivity, low-contrast, or high-resistivity, low-contrast cases. The AlphaSight service, which integrates novel EM architecture into the latest SLB RSS technologies for class-leading bit-to-sensor offset, provides subsurface mapping while drilling using physics-based EM measurements. The measurement system uses a true triaxial collocated transmitter and receiver antenna arrangement, which differs from traditional LWD designs that often rely on noncollocated or tilted antennas. Operating at ultralow EM frequencies with a frequency spectrum that is both the densest and widest in industry, this innovative service delivers deeper signal penetration and higher resolution even in challenging formations. After decades of innovation in deep and ultradeep azimuthal resistivity geosteering and reservoir mapping technologies, SLB proudly introduces in the AlphaSight service a novel multi-depth azimuthal resistivity (MDAR) technology platform which significantly increases not only depth of detection but also vertical resolution around the wellbore and ahead of the bit while drilling.
