Simple, reliable, and robust, the CLEAR service measures the weight and volume of cuttings at the surface and compares them with theoretical expectations to detect inadequate hole cleaning and early indicators of wellbore stability issues. It confirms that mud and drilling parameters are effectively removing cuttings and bringing them to the surface, helping to mitigate problems such as bit balling, cuttings beds, stuck pipe, and packoffs that can cause formation damage or lost circulation.
