Torque-Action Debris Breaker

Flow assurance is critical in maintaining well productivity and the Torque-Action Debris Breaker™ wellbore cleanup and debris removal tool can reduce the time required to clean up a compromised wellbore, particularly in the case of stubborn-to-remove and hard scales that resist traditional methods including standard broaches, chemical treatments, jetting, milling, explosives, and sonic pressure pulses.

The Torque-Action Debris Breaker tool is a fully mechanical design. The tool is jarred down mechanically in the well. This causes the helically split torque sub to apply a short-duration torque to the cutting edges of the Torque-Action Debris Breaker tool. The main torque body comes in 1½-in, 1⅞-in, and 2½-in diameters and has different shoe sizes for easy exchange on the main body as the scale is broken down. The debris is recovered by subsequent bailer runs.
