Multi-point ground flares are designed to handle large volumes of hydrocarbon gases in industrial processes. These systems utilize multiple flames arranged in a staged array, typically enclosed by a wind fence to shield the flames from plant personnel and nearby communities. They are usually used in densely populated areas, and where plants experience high variability in waste gas volumes that conventional flares cannot manage effectively.
