Production services

Schlumberger Integrated Project Management (IPM) provides production services to clients in Libya on a flexible basis. With a long and continuous history of production operations in Libya, Schlumberger IPM helps clients with a limited presence in the country to expedite developments that are remote from their other operating locations.

Schlumberger IPM offers clients extended production services: engineering, optimization, and management of reservoirs, wells, and facilities—including compilation and execution of full field development or rehabilitation programs. Support of brownfield takeovers and technical and in-country operational and logistical services are also available.

UU Bu-Attifel facility.

Our projects include the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities for handover to clients after a limited operating period. The UU Bu-Attifel plant encompassed process separation, water treatment and disposal, crude storage and export, and chemical treatment facilities; electrical power; utilities; control room; flare; and camp. This project was delivered on schedule and on budget.

Schlumberger IPM has also designed, built, leased, and operated other facilities, including upgrades, over extended periods. In Plant 103A, Schlumberger IPM continues to manage production for the client. The plant has operated for more than 8 yr at nearly 100% uptime and with an exemplary health, safety, and environmental record.

These two projects on remote undeveloped sites were planned, executed, and managed by Schlumberger IPM on a fast-track basis with in-house expertise and both international and regional contractors.
