Holds differential pressure from above or below

BluePack Max PW-V3 high-pressure permanent wireline-set sealbore packer is a single-string device that can hold differential pressure from above or below. It isolates the casing annulus to allow production of a specified zone in vertical, deviated, and horizontal wells. The packer can also act as an anchor for the tubing string.

The single-piece mandrel body designed for up to 10,000-psi pressure differential makes this packer an economical choice for production and injection applications. The positive set of the slips and element improves reliability.

The packer is normally set on wireline, saving operating time and costs. In highly deviated and horizontal wells, a hydraulic setting tool with an adapter kit can be used instead.

Save time with simplified installation

The packer is installed with the completion tubing and set by applying pressure to the tubing.

The design incorporates two full-circumference slips supported by two opposing tapered cones with a sealing element assembly positioned between them. The slips and sealing element assembly are sequentially set and held in position by a positive-lock mechanical ratchet. The slips are designed to split into multiple segments on setting and provide a full 360° grip on the casing.
