Continuous methane emissions monitoring instruments are rapidly becoming a key component of identifying leaking equipment in today’s operations. However, just using individual measurements from these systems doesn’t provide a full picture of the total emissions, periodicity, and type of leak.
In this SPE Tech Talk, SLB emissions experts Andrew Speck and Carsen Russenes discuss how combining these discrete measurements over time, from inception to mitigation, provides a complete picture of the lifecycle of a leak and a comprehensive understanding of the total methane emitted.
