MONGOOSE PRO-V

Variable-voltage high-g shaker

Applications

  • Drilling tophole section of wells with a heavy, high volume of solids

Benefits

  • Enhances solids control by efficiently separating drill cuttings and large solids from drilling fluid using high g-forces to quickly move solids across shaker screens
  • Lowers operational costs by reducing the need for large volumes of new drilling fluid while minimizing disposal expenses
  • Manages drilling fluids and cuttings disposal to meet environmental regulations

Features

  • Adjustable g-force setting enables operators to control vibration intensity to optimize the separation process
  • Equipped with dual-motion technology to adjust performance under variable drilling conditions, with linear motion ideal for high-capacity throughput and balanced elliptical motion, providing increased cuttings retention and drier solids discharge
  • High-performance composite screens deliver enhanced ability to separate fine solids from the drilling fluid, providing better fluid recovery and reduced wear on screens

How it improves performance

The MONGOOSE PRO-V™ variable-voltage high-g shaker can handle large volumes of cuttings while drilling top sections, where heavy solids are common. It uses high g-forces to quickly move solids across screens, even during drilling breaks or when fluid viscosity increases, eliminating the need for screen changes and preventing fluid loss. Its composite screens provide high fluid capacity, resist binding, discharge drier solids, and offer a large usable screen area.

How it works

The shaker operates at 8 g with dual-motion motors, with fixed weights for normal (7 g) or high-capacity (8 g) modes. Adjustable voltage helps match rig power and can be used in different global locations. It requires minimal maintenance, enabling fast screen changes, preventing costly solids bypass, and reducing maintenance costs. It can also be adapted with the SCREEN PULSE™ fluid and cuttings separator, reducing dilution and chemical needs, and recovering drilling fluid for reuse, thus reducing waste and improving environmental performance.
