Balanced elliptical motion manages high volume solids

Effective for tophole sections with heavy, high-volume solids, the balanced-elliptical motion provides 7.5 G of force to quickly move high volumes of solids across the screens. The motion increases conveyance rates and shaker fluid capacity while enabling the shaker to process heavier solids.

Progressive elliptical produces dryer cuttings

The gentler action of the progressive-elliptical motion is effective when the cuttings volume is reduced, such as in lower sections and when operators want a longer drying time for the cuttings. The G force is reduced to 6.5 G to optimize drilling fluid recovery and produce dryer cuttings. The efficiency of this motion allows for higher processing rates while increasing cuttings dryness to minimize haul-off costs.

MONGOOSE PRO shakers are built to be customized

SCREEN PULSE separator

The SCREEN PULSE™ fluid and cuttings separator significantly reduces liquid and sludge hauloff from the flowline shaker cuttings discharge. In contrast with conventional separators, which normally use only vibratory separation, the SCREEN PULSE separator creates pulsating suction on the surface of the last shaker screen on the discharge end. This enables operators to maximize fluid recovery, minimize hauloff, and pass paint filter disposal testing without added chemical stabilization in the flowline shakers cuttings boxes.

Multiple shakers to multiply results

Up to four MONGOOSE PRO shakers can be prealigned at the factory and mounted on a single skid to allow easier rig moves, requiring only one lift. Dual and trip units can use a common possum belly and include integral feeder slide gates to balance flow or divert it to a single shaker.

Mud cleaners

Mud cleaners can be installed on single, dual, triple, or quad configurations:

  • D-SANDER™ high-volume desanding cleaner is available in two or three 12-in hydrocyclone assemblies
  • D-SILTER™ high-volume desilting cleaner is available in six, eight or ten 4-in twin-hydrocyclone assemblies

Easy installation retrofit kit available

The MONGOOSE PRO shaker can be retrofit onto third-party skids to reduce

  • Consumable parts cost
  • Solids bypass
  • Noise while operating
  • Screen usage

The retrofit kit enables the operator to easily and quickly replace a worn, damaged, or poorly functioning shaker with a no weld, bolt-on installation.

  • Remove (lift off) the old basket and prepare the third-party skid for installation of the MONGOOSE PRO shaker.
  • Carefully lower the MONGOOSE PRO shaker skid on top of the third-party shaker, taking care to line up the two skids.
  • Use the two bolt holes on either side of the MONGOOSE PRO shaker skid, lining them up with the corresponding previous skid bolt holes.
  • Install and torque two installation bolts on both sides the skids.
  • Seat the supplied trough adapter so fluids properly feed into the PRO shaker.


Dynamic dual-motion shaker

The MONGOOSE PRO™ dynamic dual-motion shaker combines balanced- and progressive-elliptical motion, enabling operators to switch motion on the fly as drilling conditions change. With a simple flip of a switch, the MONGOOSE PRO shaker shifts from the balanced-elliptical to the progressive-elliptical motion without the need to suspend or shut down operations.

Operators can change the type of motion required to handle high volume or produce dryer cuttings as drilling conditions dictate. With the MONGOOSE PRO shaker, NPT lost to changing out shakers to meet drilling conditions is no longer an issue.

DURAFLO™ screens for longer life and greater screen area

The MONGOOSE PRO shaker is designed to work with DURAFLO composite replacement screens, which provide a significant increase in fluid capacity as well as excellent resistance to blinding, providing dryer solids discharge and a larger net usable screen area.
