EnduraCap L
Encapsulating polymer additive
Part of the family of Endura high-performance brine-compatible drilling fluids, EnduraCap L encapsulating polymer additive is ideally suited for water and brine solutions, especially in the Bakken Shale.
EnduraDril fluid can be weighted up to 13.5 lb/galUS [1.62 sg] with barite if desired to control water flows. Including the EnduraCap L additive in the system enables the mud density to be maintained as close to the base brine density as possible at 9.6 to 10 lb/galUS [1.15 to 1.2 sg].
Normal concentrations of EnduraCap L additive range from 0.03 to 0.10 galUS/bbl with a maintenance treatment level of 1.0 to 4.0 galUS [3.79 to 15.14 L] for every 100 ft [30.48 m] of hole drilled.
