SLB has entered a partnership with a Houston-based global independent energy company to deploy our OptiSite™ facility, equipment, and pipeline solutions.

The AI and digital twin driven solutions offer unprecedented visibility into production operations, providing automated, data-driven insights tailored to user roles and responsibilities. OptiSite solutions are enabled by the SLB Operations Data Foundation and powered by Cognite Data Fusion^®.

Why it matters

The initiative will bring immediate improvements in the customer’s facility uptime and safety, while paving the way for integrated AI, cloud, and edge technologies to enhance pipeline throughput performance via autonomous operations.

The initial deployment provides a unified visualization of performance data from the well to sales, breaking down silos to enable all domains to collaborate seamlessly in a single online environment.

OptiSite solutions can then be deployed across the entire production value chain, extending beyond facilities, equipment, and pipelines to include reservoirs, wells, and gathering networks. The aim is to drive new levels of efficiency and performance in asset health, reliability and production throughput, while optimizing energy consumption, setting a benchmark for the industry.
