Pneumatic diaphragm actuators
The Saf-T-Gard actuator line includes our MAW2012 Series pneumatic diaphragm wirecutting actuator product line. The line incorporates features from our field-proven products, combined with our industry-leading, innovative technology. Particular attention has been given to safety and ease of maintenance. The Cameron pneumatic diaphragm actuator series is designed to be used with all manufacturers' gate valves in nominal sizes from 3 to 5 in.
The MAW2012 Series uses stacked pneumatic diaphragm actuators to significantly increase the area affected by applied control pressure, providing more than adequate force to open a surface safety valve against full differential pressure. A unique set of three coil springs maintain a reliable closing force of 8,000 psi, with reserve capacity to shear 7/32-in braided cable.
