Experts discuss technology innovation in frac and flowback equipment where digitization is not yet involved. Cameron’s completion portfolio includes technologies that have evolved from conventional stackable frac trees and vertical composite trees to the industry’s first horizontal frac tree to market. Innovation has also advanced to remove frac iron restraints and significantly reducing connections on sites, benefiting operators with faster fluid delivery and cost savings.

MonoFlex dual-connection fracturing fluid delivery technology speeds up multiwell pad rig-up, reduces NPT, and limits HSE risks with only two flanged connections—a significant reduction compared with the 12 to 30 required for conventional systems.

Chevron improved its HSE footprint while saving opex on fluid delivery to the wellhead by switching from conventional treating iron to MonoFlex technology. This technology also eliminated the need for jumper lines and restraint systems. With this, Chevron recognized savings of USD 690,000 per year.
