Isolate leaks at the liner top in applications where a second trip liner top packoff is required

The CLT tieback packer is run on a second trip to isolate leaks at the liner top. The CLT tieback packer is deployed after the liner has been run and cemented and the liner tieback receptacle seal bore has been cleaned out. The CLT tieback packer seals into the existing liner tieback receptacle and is set with compression, sealing the annular area between the liner and casing. It also provides a new tieback receptacle for future operations

Ability to trip at high speed reduces trip time

During the running and cementing operation, a cementing packoff maintains a seal between the workstring and the liner. The CLT tieback packer includes an integral retrievable cement bushing (RCB) profile, designed to eliminate extra connections in the assembly.

The CLT tieback packer is deployed using a mechanical setting tool (STL) and is activated by slacking off weight onto the packer after the assembly has landed in the liner top tieback receptacle.

The CLT tieback packer uses standard 80,000-psi through 125,000-psi yield materials. Other yield strengths and materials are available on request.
